Bob Vitale graduated from Bucknell University in 1982 with a degree in Civil Engineering and received his law degree from Duquesne University in 1985. He has worked with Ray Niro and the Niro firms for over thirty-one years and has devoted his career to intellectual property matters.
Dean Niro is an accomplished litigator in complex patent, trademark and trade secret cases. Dean enjoys working on the full spectrum of challenging intellectual property matters. He also practices in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, including post grant review and inter partes review proceedings instituted by the America Invents Act.
Patrick Solon is a trial and appellate attorney for businesses in major civil disputes. He has a wide range of experience in commercial and intellectual property litigation, with wins in cases involving patent, trademark, trade secret, competition, employment, fraud, defamation, attorney liability and various contract and statutory claims.
Prior to joining Vitale, Vickrey, Niro, Solon & Gasey LLP, Dylan M. Brown worked several years for another boutique litigation firm. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, and received his law degree from Loyola University of Chicago, focusing on Intellectual Property Law.
Art Gasey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1989 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from John Marshall Law School in 1992. Art was a staff editor for the John Marshall Law Review and was a winner of the Giles S. Rich National Moot Court Competition for Patent Law in 1992.
Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Gretchen worked at another Chicago-based litigation firm that predominantly focused on intellectual property litigation. Gretchen graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York in 2008, where she earned a B.S. in biological engineering with a concentration in biomedical engineering. She obtained her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2014 along with a Certificate of Intellectual Property and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2014.
